You’re a Pet, a movie starring Jang Keun Suk, is to hold a fan meeting in Japan.

Along with Gang, who is dubbed “Asia’s prince,” Kim Ha Neul, Lyu Tae Joon, Jung Yoo Mi, and others will attend the event.

It is to be held at the Kyocera Dome, in Osaka, on February 11, and the event will be broadcast all over the Japan.

You’re a Pet is a romantic comedy telling a story about a career woman, who is inept at building a romantic relationship, and a good-looking guy, a would-be dancer.

The movie, which released on May 21, in Japan, ranked 5 on the Box Office.

At this fan meeting, all the lead role actors will gather and spend time with fans.

Jang Keun Suk showed off his box office power on the Japanese silver screen.

On February 2, Box Office Mojo, a website that tracks box office revenue in a systematic and algorithmic way in the United States, said that the movie You’re My Pet, which was released in Japan on January 21, earned 2,424,009 dollars by January 29. The movie ranked ninth in box office receipts in the second week.

What makes the record is even more remarkable, is that the movie is only screening on 92 screens in Japan. The movie is a romantic comedy based on the popular Japanese comic book with the same title. Jang, who is very popular in Japan, appeared in the movie, and helped release the movie in both Korea and Japan.

The movie was released in November of last year in Korea and earned only 3.8 billion won receiving 540 thousand viewers. The movie, however, ranked fifth in the first week of its release and earned over 2.7 billion won in the second week.

On February 2, Jang Keun Suk appeared on Japan’s Fuji TV “Kuwazu Kirai” and talked about his ideal girl type and dating experience.

He revealed, “I prefer elegant women. I like mature women who can comfortably walk around in heels. I don’t care much about age.” When asked if he was dating anyone, he answered, “It’s been about three years (since I haven’t).”

And then he went on, “I’m telling this for the first time, but I have someone that I love actually. It’s you, my fans.”

The actor/singer recently held a special fan meeting, ‘2012 Lotte Duty-Free Shops Jang Geun Suk In Star Avenue‘ at the Dom Art Hall in Children’s Grand Park on January 28th. An impressive 1,400 Japanese fans showed up for the event, proving the star’s international fame.

The meet and greet was nothing short of a concert. Jang Geun Suk sang “Hello Hello“, the soundtrack to his drama, ‘Mary Stayed Out All Night‘, as well as his Japanese debut single “Oh My Darling“, and his yet to be released upcoming single, which earned the warm applause of the audience.

He also planned a few special events for the fans, and gifted one of the winners with a T-shirt and jacket he personally wore during one of his advertisement shoots. The star also selected two members of the audience to come on stage and take pictures with him, and revealed photos of himself which were taken during his day to day activities & his World Tour.

This venue in particular held fan meet and greets in rapid succession, as JYJ held one at the location on the 14th, followed by Kim Hyun Joong who held a meet and greet on the 21st. Boy group Big Bangalso held one at the same location right after Jang Geun Suk, which caused quite the stir amongst their fans.
