On March 21, IU, Kara and Jang Keun Suk released each of their albums in Japan at the same time. The three Korean singer teams have to carry on competition with Japan’s most favored singer Amuro Namie.

The keen attention is also turning into whether Kara could break its record. Among Korea’s girl groups which advanced into Japan’s music world, Kara is first challenging a new sales record of the total 1,000,000 copies of single albums.

Jang Ken Suk, nicknamed as “Asian Prince,” unveiled its special unit Team H.

Jang involved himself in all detailed steps of the album creation from song selection, to jacket shooting, music video and to clothing concept. His new mini-album, Lounge H The First Impression, already climbed to the top in the presale ranking.

IU’s Japanese debut single “Good Day” is the Japanese version of “Good Day,” the greatest hit song among Korean fans. Stressing her innocent, cute appeals, IU is determined to appeal to Japanese music fans, carrying out passionate activities in Japan with its new single.

Her outstanding musicality will surely serve as a strong advantage for her appealing to Japanese people.

Kara returns to Japan in a while with new songs. Kara’s sixth Japanese single, “Speed up!/Girl’s Power,” was unveiled, which shows off the girls’ contradictory images at the same time.

The music video of “Speed Up,” a song of an intense, explosive sound, brings in “Black Kara,” the gloomy, charismatic aspect of the girls, while “Girl’s Power” accentuates their girlish appeals that seem to be familiar to Kara’s fans.
