According to a July 11 announcement by his publicist, Jang Geun Suk has been chosen as a model for the Italian outdoor brand Ferrino.
Ferrino is a brand with 143 years of history under its belt and is sold in over 35 countries, including the U.S., France, Australia, and Argentina. Jang Geun Suk will start promoting the brand in TV commercials, on posters, and so on from end of this month.
Currently, advertising for outdoor brands is a battlefield of top stars like Jo In Sung, Lee Min Ho, and Hyun Bin.
Having Jang Geun Suk represent the Italian luxury brand breaks away from the stereotypes we’re used to seeing in current outdoor-brand advertising.
Jang Geun Suk‘s agency says, “Jang has become a leading advertising model for foods, a duty-free shop, a department store, cosmetics, casual clothing brands, and electronic products.
He will show his special charm and popularity as this brand’s model as well.” Meanwhile, Jang is set to return to TV drama in Beautiful Guy, which is based on a graphic novel by Chun Kye Young
