The KBS drama, ‘Love Rain’, will be released as a two-part film in Japanese cinemas on the 20th of September and the 11th of October this year.
The original 20 episode drama, starring the handsome Jang Keun Suk and beautiful Yoona (member of supergroup Girls’ Generation), will be re-edited by a Japanese director into a new film showing the main plot and highlights of the romantic drama series. ‘Love Rain’, which follows an interlaced love story between the 1970s and the present year in 2012, received the highest viewer ratings in Japan 3 times.
