Actor Jang Keun Suk recently appeared on the Chinese entertainment program, Que-Rak-Dae-Bon-Young, and captured the Chinese audience.
On June 18, Jang’s agency said that the show, which aired on June 16, also aired on internet TV channel PPS Online and over 350,000 people watched the show.
Since other episodes of the show usually attracts 100,000 to 200,000 people, Jang’s episode of the show received an explosive response by comparison, attracting over 350,000 people.
After the show aired, the search words ‘Jang Keun Suk’ and ‘Jang Keun Suk Que-Rak-Dae-Bon-Young‘ were listed on the real time search words list on Google China.
On the show, which aired for 90 minutes as a special show for its 15th anniversary, Jang showed off his great sense of humor by talking with 5 famous Chinese MCs.
Jang also showed off his close friendship with popular Chinese MC Huh Ji Woong. He made the audience laugh by talking about when he met with him for drinks in the past.
Jang looked like a mischievous boy when he bothered the MCs while showing them how to play his favorite game. He also heated up the studio by performing the ‘Shuffle Dance.’
According to an official for the show, when a ball hit one of audience members during a game, Jang made the entire crew’s heart flutter by approaching to the person and asking, “Are you okay?” Jang sang songs, including “Hello Hello.”
Even though the song is written in Korean, the Chinese fans sang along with the song and Jang and proved his high popularity.
Jang will hold the first concert of the ’2012 Jang Keun Suk Asia Tour The Cri Show 2′ on July 7.
