Jang Keun Suk recently said the press interview he was going to give in Japan has not been postponed because of anti-Korean sentiments in Japan.
On August 29, Tri-J Entertainment, Jang’s agency, reported, “The press interview with Sumitomo Mitsui Card Company has been postponed before the issue regarding Dokdo was brought up because it was underprepared.”
Earlier that day, a newspaper reported that the reason Jang’s press interview in Japan has been postponed is that there is currently a diplomatic conflict between Korea and Japan.
Regarding the newspaper’s report, Jang’s agency said, “People seem to misunderstand about this because it has been postponed around the time the issue was brought up, but it’s not true. We’ll reschedule the press interview soon.”
