Actor Jang Keun Suk was recently selected as a PR envoy for the ’2012 Seoul Nuclear Security Summit.’
The ’2012 Seoul Nuclear Security Summit’, which will be held in Seoul in March 2012, will be the largest summit in the security field that discusses international cooperative measures to protect nuclear materials and facilities from terrorist groups, with participation from more than 50 heads of state and international organizations.
A spokesperson for the ’2012 Seoul NSS’ says, “We chose Jang as our PR envoy because Jang is a global star and he is also very friendly. We hope people can be more interested in the importance of the nuclear security.”
Jang says, “I’m honored to be a PR envoy for the ’2012 Seoul NSS’, which is receiving worldwide attention. I will do my best to inform the importance of protecting nuclear materials and facilities from terrorist.”
Jang will hold an additional concert in Japan on the 26th at his fans’ request.
